Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Culinary Leader to oversee all galley operations, maintaining six-star culinary standards on our luxurious onboard properties. The successful candidate will supervise daily food preparation, lead and inspire a multicultural team, and maintain compliance with stringent health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
* Galley Operations: Oversee daily food preparation, ensuring impeccable presentation and quality across all dining venues.
* Team Management: Lead and inspire a multicultural team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
* Compliance and Quality Control: Maintain compliance with stringent health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
* Inventory and Procurement: Manage inventory, procurement, and food cost control to ensure efficiency.
* Crisis Management: Deliver excellence under high-pressure conditions, as there are no days off during the 4-month contract.
Requirements:
* Luxury Cruise Experience: Extensive experience in luxury cruise operations, such as six-star cruise lines.
* Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
* Culinary Expertise: Exceptional culinary expertise, creativity, and attention to detail.
* Communication Skills: Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to Invest: Willingness to cover the initial costs of certifications (STCW, Seaman's Book, C1D Visa, and medical exams).
