Junior Accountant
Job Purpose: To perform specific Financial Accounting and Reporting activities relevant for Group and Local reporting in order to support and reinforce key business objectives. The role gives opportunity to participate in local, regional and global projects and that is why we are looking for a proactive, flexible person with a “can do” approach.
Responsibilities:
1. Support monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings including:
* Booking to general ledger and to sub-ledgers based on rules/instruction
* Balance Sheet and Income Statement account reconciliation
* Data analysis and preparation of standard reports
* Assist in Financial Statement preparation
* Intercompany reconciliation and postings
* Execute and prepare control evidence
1. Respond to business queries within area of responsibility
2. Assist and support department’s initiatives
Candidate’s Profile:
* Finance and Accounting education is preferred
* English skills – spoken and written at fluent level
* Microsoft Office experience package including good Excel knowledge is a must
* Good communication and analytical skills
* Interest in finance, passion for teamwork and success
* Desire to grow through development opportunities
* Previous working/internship experience or studying abroad is an asset

This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
