Talent Development Manager Job Summary
The Talent Development Manager plays a crucial role in creating a framework for performance management and talent development that aligns with the organization's vision and goals.
This position builds awareness and alignment across the organization through the creation of programs and resources designed to develop and grow our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develops a comprehensive Talent Development strategy, process, and resources
* Createss a framework for assessing, managing, and developing talent
* Collaborates on projects within the talent space by directing initiatives that foster associate development, improved culture, and increased retention of current employees
* Manages and develops the Performance Management strategy, process, and resources
* Develops tailored development plans, career pathing, and succession planning for high-performers
* Develops resources and processes for improving low performers through the performance improvement process
* Buils the Leadership Development Program identifying key areas and creating solutions for continued growth at all levels of leadership
* Buils the Early Career Program to assist in the development of an internal pipeline of talent
* Creates standardized guidelines for communication, engagement, and development across departments in alignment with core values and mission
* Collaborates with compensation teams and leadership on career development and associate compensation programs
* Develops talent management materials, such as branding/marketing materials for leadership development programs
* Assists in acquisition alignment including onboarding newly acquired associates and managing their experience
* Creates key metrics to measure employee performance, development, and retention
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience building and administering talent development programs
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field
