The Position
We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Business Leader to join our team. You will own the definition of the Customer Area's commercial strategy, focus & priorities in close coordination and co-creation with the Business Areas, the Operating Network, the Head of NEO, and the assigned Operating Network General Manager.
The Opportunity:
* Commercial Liaison with the corresponding Business Area, Pharma & Disease Area Network: Link with the Business Area as eSPC member, representing the customer voice of EMEA LATAM in the prioritization of the product portfolio roadmap and main projects of the respective focus area (Core Lab, Molecular Diagnostic Lab, Pathology Lab, Point of Care Lab, Diagnostics Insights, and Clinical Insights)
* Prioritization and endorsement of key strategic projects and initiatives (e.g., squads, communities of practice) for the region EMEA/LATAM, thus driving and shaping the design and execution of the EMEA/LATAM commercial strategy.
* Stakeholder Management & Transversal Integration: Foster strong integration with the entire ecosystem for your focus area (OpNet, NEO, Subregions, Affiliates, iKAMs, Business Areas) and identify and accelerate cross-functional synergies and opportunities.
* Disease Management: Ensure the integration of your respective focus area into an overall disease management approach when applicable, in close collaboration with the Medical & Gov. Affairs / MAx function and the regional strategy and innovation chapter.
* Commercial Liaison with the Affiliates: Steer the business and support the affiliates in different business needs. Drive the success of the implementation of your focus area and strategic priorities throughout the region.
* Identify new market opportunities and trends, and manage market risks, ensuring the success of your business area as defined in the Business Plan and P&L.
* Change Management: Drive organizational changes and development of the regional networking and ways of working concepts and play an active role in the transformation process in the region, in close collaboration with the Head of NEO.
* Coordination: Orchestrate and ensure the integration of the 3 governance Forums in their focus areas: strategic and commercial forum, OpNet, and ELLC community.
* Strategic Risk Management: Anticipate risk scenarios, develop suitable risk management strategies, and establish mitigation measures for your focus area.
* In collaboration with the other commercial business leaders and finance, you will be responsible for preparing and tracking the regional budget and business planning and recommending adjustments in response to internal and external influences.
Who you are:
* Proven strategic agility, including being able to create broad conceptual plans addressing major topics and translate them into key simplified messages and actions.
* Track record of making strategic commercial decisions and aligning the organization behind them.
* Strong business acumen, with significant commercial experience with proven implementation.
* Minimum of 7 years experience in IVD or related sectors.
* Demonstrated success in managing complex strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects and senior stakeholder management.
* Proven ability to build, manage and foster relationships and networks with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Experience working in an international, multi-cultural and matrix environment.
* Excellent leadership qualities, including but not limited to: inspiring and motivating others; leading and coaching; team-building; high level of cultural awareness; quality developing trust and credibility.
* Willingness to experiment and learn, and drive transformation across the region.
* Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Fluency in English and (ideally also other languages) is a must.
