ERP Senior Manager Role
The ERP Senior Manager is a critical position within our IT Department, focusing on optimizing the Order-to-Cash process and its key subcomponents. This role ensures effective integration and performance of this critical ERP function across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and manage our solution to meet IT strategy and business requirements.
* Evaluate business requests for service enhancements and prioritize work according to the solution/service strategy.
* Promote continuous improvement efforts for the solution, create business cases, and understand user needs.
* Ensure adequate support center support for existing applications, solutions, and systems.
* Analyze the impact of new technology and adapt plans and architecture accordingly. Govern IT security, compliance, and IT audits.
* Effectively manage vendor relationships and negotiate SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
* Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and communicate key performance metrics.
* Create and maintain documentation throughout the system development lifecycle.
Business and IT Organization Engagement
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders outside of IT and facilitate communication and alignment.
* Maintain excellent relationships within other IT organizations and act as a consultant/expert when needed.
* Provide escalation support for performance issues/outages to business management.
* Develop your network and leverage it to build lasting beneficial relationships with strategic external partners.
Financial Management
* Meet or drive down budget allocated to change/enhancement requests for our solution.
Leadership and Team Development
* Coach, mentor, provide constructive feedback, and develop the IT organization.
* Lead the end-to-end optimization of the Order-to-Cash cycle from order management and pricing to delivery and accounts receivable.
* Ensure seamless integration of the Order-to-Cash workflow within the ERP system, emphasizing improved cash flow and reduced cycle times.
* Foster collaboration between sales, finance, and IT to enhance Order-to-Cash process efficiency.
* Develop strategies to streamline billing, credit management, and payment processes, enhancing customer satisfaction.
* Provide global program management, ensuring achievement of objectives related to the Order-to-Cash cycle.
* Implement robust project governance and controls tailored to Order-to-Cash components across dispersed Business and IT teams.
* Develop a comprehensive risk management plan focused on the Order-to-Cash sequence, identifying and mitigating risks.
* Drive post-implementation review and optimization of Order-to-Cash processes, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
* Minimum 7-8 years of experience in primary consulting firms and/or IT Departments of large corporations, with a focus on ERP systems and the Order-to-Cash process.
* Proven expertise in managing and improving the Order-to-Cash cycle within an ERP environment, preferably SAP.
* Strong analytical skills with ability to manage detailed complexities of the Order-to-Cash process.
* Demonstrated change management and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving Order-to-Cash workflows.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at cross-functional teamwork and able to manage multiple project streams with a focus on the Order-to-Cash process.
* Proven ability to drive process improvement in Order-to-Cash within an ERP system and measure its impact through KPIs and benefit realization.
* Highly organized and self-motivated with strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, and a commitment to inclusivity and integrity in leading teams.
