Job Description
We are seeking an IT System Support Engineer to join our Group IT team as a key player in ensuring the continuous availability and security of our data center systems, software, and operating systems.
Main Responsibilities:
* System Support: Provide support for Operating Systems (OS), Software (SW), and Databases (DB) in Data Centres (DCs), including Microsoft, VMware, and Veeam.
* Storage and Server Management: Manage Storage Systems (NetApp) and Servers (HP).
* Network and Firewall Management: Oversee network and firewall management.
* Life-Cycle Management: Manage Life-Cycle Management of Microsoft platforms.
* Application Support: Support specific applications.
* IT Security: Implement and maintain Antivirus and IT Security technologies.
* Project Implementation: Execute project implementation and maintenance.
* Site Support: Provide site support.
* Microsoft Technologies: Manage Microsoft technologies such as WSUS, KMS, PKI, GPOs, and scripting.
Requirements:
* Education: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or relevant IT systems-related education.
* System Support Experience: Long-term system support experience in a global production environment, ideally in the automotive industry.
* Helpdesk Operations: Experience in helpdesk operations, including on-call service.
* Software License Management: Knowledge of software license management.
* Language: Fluency in English.
* Critical Skills: Strong creativity, problem-solving skills, and service orientation.
