Job Description
We seek a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our industry collaborations team, working at the intersection between academia, industry, and entrepreneurship.
You will drive the ETH AI Center's outreach and sales activities for its fellowship and membership program, including the joint industry programs within the Swiss National AI Institute (SNAI), in close collaboration with the EPFL AI Center.
You will support managing selected customer accounts, engage with innovation leaders, and stay up to date on cutting-edge technology. Your role is crucial in guiding corporate clients towards their objectives, showcasing our offerings, and helping them leverage cutting-edge technology to stay ahead.
Main Responsibilities:
* New partner acquisition: You will work closely with the Industry Partnership Manager to ensure growth of the SNAI and ETH AI Center industry membership base.
* New fellowship funder acquisition and retention: You will be instrumental in growing the Fellowship funder base, expanding the PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowship program of SNAI and ETH AI Center.
* Project support: You will work closely with other teams within the ETH AI Center to fund and co-organise events such as the AI+X Summit, Switzerland's largest AI event.
Profile
* Fluency in English; German is strongly preferred.
* Strong interest in current AI developments, technical degree preferred.
* Proven ability and motivation to independently set up and manage projects, with a hands-on, proactive attitude, and solution-oriented mindset.
* Excellent organizational skills and a talent for communication, facilitating effective interactions with industry partners.
* Experience in a similar role with a track record of success in fundraising.
* Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
* Previous experience in CRM systems and sales automation tools a big plus.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity and a drive for learning.
* Experience in event management a big plus.
