Your mission
We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator to support our business hubs in Zurich and London, as well as users across several European countries from our Zurich office.
Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure Management: Ensure high-performance, reliable, and secure IT infrastructure by monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading servers, networks, and desktops.
2. User Support: Provide first and second-line technical assistance to internal staff, resolving hardware and software issues through troubleshooting.
3. Network Configuration: Support network setup, manage firewalls, VPNs, and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
4. Security Protocols: Implement and manage security measures, antivirus software, patching, and updates; ensure compliance with data protection policies.
5. Hardware/Software Deployment: Install, configure, and manage hardware (computers, printers, phones) and software (operating systems, office suites, specialized applications) using 'one touch' deployment strategies.
6. Data Backup & Recovery: Manage regular data backups, recovery procedures, and archiving processes to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities.
7. Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for IT processes, procedures, and asset inventory.
8. IT Project Assistance: Support IT projects such as system upgrades, deployments, and migrations.
9. Vendor Liaison: Collaborate with external vendors for IT equipment, software licensing, and technical support agreements.
Requirements
1. Preferred Experience: 3+ years in IT Administration or Systems Support, preferably in a similar environment.
2. Operating System Proficiency: Strong skills in Mac (primary) and Windows (secondary) operating systems.
3. Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking issues.
4. Security and Cloud Experience: Required experience in IT Security and Cloud Management.
5. Certifications: Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar) are a plus, though not required.
6. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, customer-service orientation, and time management ability.
7. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
8. Language Skills: Good spoken and written English skills, as English is the primary language used in day-to-day communication.
