Our client is a highly recognized Retail company.
We are looking for an experienced Accountant who will be responsible for managing the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting for two companies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting.
* Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
* Reconcile subsidiary ledgers with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and audits.
* Ensure compliance with Swiss accounting standards and tax regulations.
* Support process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 4-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the retail sector.
* Proficiency in SAP R/3 and VIM for financial management.
* Strong understanding of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting.
* Experience with financial reconciliations and closing processes.
* Fluency in German and French (both written and spoken) is a must.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
