An exciting opportunity exists for a world Ground Handling Expert to join our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys” to support ground handling administration, including pre and post hotel reservations, terminal operations, and luggage handling.

Leveraging our parent company MSC Group’s hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six ships are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine ocean travel. Explora Journeys is creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travelers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Manage Bidding & Product Development: new port inspections, vendor assessment & selection, rate negotiations
2. Liaise with internal stakeholders and train on port information, pre-post hotel and transfer products and advise on specific product/process related questions
3. Attendance to Turnaround Operations in designated ports to supervise the embarkation/debarkation process, staff training and support to onboard Guests Relations and Destination Experiences teams
4. Product pricing and setup in the different systems to go live, manage contract administration, check invoices and payments
5. Maintenance of all pre, post and transfer products across different systems
6. Daily analysis of Guests feedback and recommend actions to improve processes
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. 5 years of experience in a similar position
2. Proven knowledge of logistical and operational processes in a terminal
3. Outstanding analytical and organization skills
4. Team Player with a solution-oriented mindset
5. Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
6. Ability to travel internationally up to 20%
