For our headquarters in Glattbrugg, we are looking for a flexible, reliable, and responsible Stores Manager to oversee logistics operations in both Glattbrugg and Stockholm. This role involves leading the store teams, managing stock levels, coordinating deliveries, handling inventories, and ensuring timely processing of goods and documentation. The ideal candidate will have logistics experience, a proactive attitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
Your main tasks
Lead and manage the store teams in Glattbrugg and Stockholm
Oversee goods receipt, quality control, and electronic data processing (EDP) recording
Operate and manage various warehouse systems, ensuring accurate system-specific entries
Process commissioning in line with production orders and customer service requirements
Request quotations, negotiate terms, and organize and prepare transport for postal, rail, sea, air, and road shipments, ensuring deadlines are met
Plan deliveries, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with international suppliers to manage bottleneck materials for all global stations
Monitor the shelf life of goods and tooling, conducting periodic inventories at HQ and all external stations
Handle the administrative preparation and management of internal and external documents, including delivery and export paperwork
Maintain expertise in Dangerous Goods and Poisonous Articles handling
Provide administrative support and practical training for warehouse staff and engineers
Coordinate and communicate effectively with line stations regarding logistics and maintenance
Monitor delivery timelines and quality of goods, issuing reminders when necessary
Negotiate with suppliers of consumables and tools on pricing, delivery schedules, technical changes, and resolve any issues that arise
Your qualifications
Completed education as a logistics specialist (Logistikfachmann EFZ)
Several years of professional experience in logistics management, Aviation experience is a plus
Proven experience collaborating with various business stakeholders across multiple functions in a fast-paced environment
Valid category B driver’s license
Practical, hands-on approach with a proactive “can-do” attitude
Ability to identify creative solutions while taking full ownership of assigned duties and tasks
Fluent in both written and spoken English and German (at least B2 Level in each)
Possession of a valid Poisonous Goods Certificate, Category 1/3
Reliable, eager to learn, and a strong team player
Eligible to work in Switzerland
