PAM Engineer / IT Security Specialist

Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a PAM Engineer / IT Security Specialist.
Duration: 12 months – with extension/ internalization
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up Proof of Concept (PoC) environments to test and evaluate shortlisted PAM products.
* Create comprehensive documentation on Confluence.
* Prepare for the migration from the current PasswordSource system to the new PAM solution.
* Develop automation scripts to streamline daily business tasks.
* Deploy, configure, and secure Windows and Linux servers in both on-premise and cloud environments.
* Implement secure middleware solutions (e.g., IIS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis) with a focus on security, scalability, and performance tuning.
* Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
* Deploy and manage secrets management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, and AWS Secrets Manager.
* Develop automated failover and backup strategies using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
* Optimize server, middleware, and vault performance for efficiency and scalability.
Required Experience and Skills:
* 5+ years of experience in IT Security, infrastructure automation, and PAM tools.
* Strong experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools like BeyondTrust (Privileged Identity and PasswordSource) and HashiCorp.
* Proficiency in deploying and securing Windows and Linux.
* Hands-on experience with middleware technologies like IIS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Redis.
* Ability to work collaboratively with testers, developers, and other stakeholders.
* Fluent in English, German is a big plus.
