You'll be at the heart of strategy development for global accounts, building strong customer relationships and driving global growth by leading internal and external teams to deliver customer value.
Your Role
The Global Sales Tender Management Lead role oversees coordination and execution of Tender Management teams across hemispheres, supporting key account managers throughout sales process: strategic engagement, business reviews, customer profile setup, and tender management functions.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and execute tender management strategies aligning with organizational goals and market trends.
* Develop effective business review methodology.
* Define rules of engagement for all processes within Global Tender Management.
* Provide direction, mentorship, and inspiration to Tender Management Hemisphere teams, fostering high performance and collaboration culture.
* Lead efforts to align internal stakeholders across departments and regions, ensuring strong support for tender initiatives.
* Maintain effective sales presence to promote success of Sales Excellence Team internally and externally.
* Set clear performance expectations using subjective and objective KPIs, conduct evaluations, and offer constructive feedback.
* Identify opportunities for process enhancements and champion innovative solutions.
* Optimize resource distribution, managing personnel and budgets to maximize operational efficiency.
* Proactively identify and mitigate risks in customer engagement and tender process, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
* Develop customer-centric approaches prioritizing satisfaction and retention throughout tender process.
* Foster creativity within TM teams, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.
* Set ambitious goals, lead by example, and ensure team accountability for outstanding outcomes.
Your Skills and Experiences
* 2-5 years Project Management experience with strong organizational and execution capabilities.
* Proven international experience navigating cross-cultural environments.
* At least 2 years leadership experience, both direct and virtual, managing teams across multiple regions.
* 5-10 years freight forwarding and logistics operations experience from Logistics Service Provider or Manufacturing/Retail sectors.
* Minimum 2 years Pricing, Tender Management, or Excellence Management experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office / 365 with advanced skills in PowerPoint presentations and medium-to-advanced Excel.
* Fluency in English required; German language skills a plus.
* Will to travel as needed to support global operations.
