Your Role
As our Part-Time Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining the financial health of Tourismus Group. Working closely with our finance and operations teams, you will ensure our financial processes run smoothly and in compliance with Swiss accounting standards. This role offers flexibility, making it ideal for professionals seeking a part-time opportunity within a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
2. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
3. Oversee VAT declarations and ensure compliance with Swiss tax laws and regulations.
4. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for various business units within the group.
5. Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other financial stakeholders.
6. Maintain proper documentation and records in line with Swiss regulatory requirements.
7. Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions and financial strategy.
8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and financial controls.
Your Profile:
1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of professional accounting experience, ideally within the tourism, hospitality, or service sector in Switzerland.
3. Solid understanding of Swiss GAAP FER and local tax regulations, including VAT.
4. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Abacus, Sage, Bexio) and advanced Excel skills.
5. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
6. Independent, reliable, and detail-oriented with excellent time management.
7. Fluent in German (working language) and good knowledge of English; French is an advantage.
8. Passion for the tourism and hospitality industry is a plus!
