Your role
In the role of a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required
• Experience of identifying and helping to deliver business change in a large, complex organization.
• Proven accomplishment in significant qualitative and quantitative data analysis together with the ability to convey complex subject matter to suit differing stakeholder needs.
• Proven knowledge of techniques for requirements definition and process analysis.
• Experience of applying formal business improvement tools and techniques such as six-sigma, lean, systems thinking, agile delivery methods.
• A consummate team player, able to accept compromise solutions and work closely with all colleagues to arrive at success.
• Provide a consistent pragmatic approach.
• Ability to spot and document assumptions and begin work without waiting for all questions to be answered.
• Domain / Product expertise: good hands on, functional experience and understanding on:
o Must have working experience in Financial Service Domain with min 7+ Yrs. of experience.
o Good experience of payment processing workflow.
o Testing Experience with SWIFT, SEPA, EFT, WIRE and ACH Payments.
o Core Payments including Retail and Corporate payment.
o Payment systems and exposure to Mandates, Electronic payments processing, Clearing and Settlement, Processes of Automated clearing house, NACH/ACH payments etc.
o Payments based on SWIFT/ ISO 20022 and FED/CHIPS standards.
o Real-Time Payments and Real Time Payment Architectures, SEPA
o Experience in designing, operating, or implementing vendor payment platforms.
o Working experience in SIT/UAT/Regression & E2E testing
• Tools: Require hands on experience with Agile processes and Request management tools like JIRA
• Experience in Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL), Big Data, SAP.
• Partner with Infosys leaders in building Domain practice by assisting in recruitment, talent nurturing and COE activities.
• Proficiency in understanding/interpreting client asks & proactive in addressing needs and delivering solutions.
• Experience in working in onshore/offshore model, agile in adopting customer work culture, mentor & build team.
• Excellent communication & customer interfacing skills
• A sound understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities and diversity.
Preferred
• Consulting anchor who can ensure high quality standards & strive for customer delight.
• Experience in Program management and Stakeholder management
• Experience in Presales activities (Proposals/Oral presentations)
• Has knowledge in KPI driven metrics and standards.
• GPP external certifications
