How you can make an impact
4. System engineering of a hardware & software system in ETCS (European Train Control System)
5. Design and integration of on-board systems into rail vehicles
6. Creation of concepts, system requirements specifications and electrical schematics
7. Participation in static & dynamic commissioning of the systems in rail vehicle as well as in type tests in the field
8. Preparation of evidences for authorization
9. Interface with customers, assessors and suppliers
10. Working in complicated projects with a large number of stake holders and in a multi-cultural environment
11. Development of system architecture
12. Further development of the system based on customer requirements
How you will contribute
13. Completed technical education as mechanical, electronic or computer science engineer ETH/TU/FH or comparable
14. English at fluent level (spoken and written)
15. Good analytical and interpersonal skills
16. Willingness to travel in Europe (up to 25%)
Desireable
17. Knowledge of ETCS including European Railway Agency (ERA) standards
18. Knowledge of National Train Control Systems in different European countries (, PZB/LZB, ATB-EG, TBL1+, SCMT, MIREL, Zub123 etc. )
19. Experience with Class B systems integration
20. Knowledge of tools like DOORS, RQM, CCM, as well as MVB protocols and/or the simulation environment
21. German spoken and written
22. Experience in hardware Integration
