Your mission
Support in his engineering field during product development, production support and project.
Conduct relevant M&P tasks with or without supervision.
Selection, development, optimization of materials, surface treatments, joining and cleaning processes, as well as manufacturing processes for individual parts, components and complete assemblies.
Support product development, i.e. design department (incl design to cost), analysis, system engineering, manufacturing engineering and PA.
Work cross-functionally with manufacturing engineering, operations, quality, design engineering, and other teams to define and develop manufacturing work instruction specifications, equipment, tools, materials, and training.
Support material testing (routine testing of all materials, tracking testing & in-process samples, development tests, material database, damage analysis and all non-destructive testing (NDT).
Support processes and product continuous improvements to deliver in line with customer quality, cost, and demand.
Verify supplier documentation and test reports of purchased parts and materials regarding the fulfillment of specifications and applicable quality requirements.
Utilize project management techniques/tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements.
Write technical documentation project related deliverable and other specifications related to his field of work.
Work package/Task Manager. Report to technical lead budget and milestone. Raise awareness on risk and blocking points.
Participate in NRBs (Non-Conformance Review Board) according to the NC process.
Your story
Master’s degree in Material Science, Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
Min 3 years of company relevant experience.
Knowledge of materials & processes in the following fields:
- Composites, in particular carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP). Hands-on experience.
- Metallic materials & processes, surface treatments and adhesive bonding materials & processes.
- Non-metallic materials.
Nice to have’s:
Space or Aerospace experience.
Knowledge of sandwich constructions related M&P (lightweight design).
Experience with MES, CAD and other relevant complex software.
