Overview of Role
We are looking for a pro-active and technically versed specialist who has experience in the payments and cash processing and transaction management. The position is tailored to candidates who take ownership of issues, investigations and requests and deliver results in an international cross-team and cross-departmental environment. In this role, you will also provide general support to the Payment Operations team. We are expecting the candidate to demonstrate a high client- and service orientation in the day-to-day business and to work in projects as well. Responsibilities
Handling of incoming and outgoing payments for all business units (Zurich, London, Guernsey, Milan) through SIC/EUROSIC/SWIFT
Execution of cash withdrawals/deposits at the cashier desk
Administration of Safe Deposit Box transactions (open, close)
Handling of Vault transactions (physical delivery IN/OUT)
Management of MAESTRO-Debit-Cards
Handling of Client and Corporate Credit Cards
Execution of Direct Debit and Cheque (issuance/collections) transactions
Administration of Foreign Exchange, Money Market and Option trades
Execution of Ex-Custody booking
Proactive management of ad-hoc requests/investigations
Education and Qualifications
Commercial degree, higher banking education
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
Minimum of 2 years banking experience in the Payments area required
Profound practical knowledge of Avaloq banking platform
Profound understanding of payments processing
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), French is beneficial
Good German skills (written and spoken)
Deep knowledge of SWIFT and SIC/EUROSIC systems
Basic knowledge on cheque handling/processing
