Muller Technology specializes in the design and manufacturing of industrial automation systems and injection molds for the plastic industry. Operating internationally, we cater to the specific needs of various sectors, including food, medical, and personal care industries.
To strengthen our Injection team in Conthey, Switzerland, we are seeking an Injection Machine Operator.
As an injection machine operator, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to developing innovative packaging solutions for the food, medical, and personal care sectors. You will work with our Injection Machines and participate in international projects while being actively involved in the continuous improvement of our processes and molds.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and maintain plastic resin for mold tests.
2. Prepare the injection machine before mold testing.
3. Prepare the injection mold before testing.
4. Install the mold in the Injection Machine.
5. Install all water, hydraulic, and air circuits.
6. Start mold testing and run all protocols to center the mold stacks, balance cavities, cycle time, etc.
7. Perform mold correction inside the injection machine.
8. Participate in mold testing (FAT) with customers on-site or at customer facilities.
9. Conduct plastic part quality control using visual inspection, manual tools, and 3D scans, and create quality reports.
10. Create mold test process reports for each test.
11. Contribute to the mold improvement program by reporting suggestions and problems during testing.
12. Perform basic maintenance on the injection machines and peripheral equipment.
13. Ensure the injection department remains clean and organized.
14. Maintain organized material and tool inventory.
15. Perform mold basic maintenance.
16. Support the assembly department when there are no mold tests.
17. Actively participate in R&D of new products and processes.
18. Maintain and continuously improve our Injection Department database.
Your Profile:
1. A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in the injection mold industry is required.
2. Proficiency in standard software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
4. The ability to communicate in different languages would be an asset.
5. The ability to read and interpret drawings and 3D models of the molds and products.
6. The ability to use quality control equipment and create quality control reports.
7. The ability to communicate technical aspects of mold concept/design to engineering and sales teams, as well as to customers.
8. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
9. The ability to meet deadlines while ensuring high-quality standards.
10. The ability to work independently and proactively take technical decisions based on internal standards.
11. The ability to travel internationally a few times a year to qualify molds at customer facilities worldwide.
