Watton Hall has partnered with an innovative medical device company located in Switzerland. Their goal is to enhance lives worldwide through cutting-edge injection systems and solutions. The Chief Operations Officer will play a pivotal role in driving the end-to-end operations while promoting strategic initiatives and achieving operational excellence throughout all operational departments. The position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the company, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Analyse internal operations to identify areas for process enhancement. Develop actionable business strategies that align with both short-term and long-term objectives.
Ensure compliance with EU regulations, country-specific laws, and local business requirements. Enforce compliance measures across all operational areas.
Partner with the finance team to manage budgets, monitor performance metrics, and ensure sufficient cash flow to meet growth targets. Proactively manage capital investments and expenses.
Work closely with service directors, HR, sales management, and other departments to ensure optimal organizational performance across all service areas.
Maintain trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders. Act as a representative of the company in various forums.
Qualifications:
University degree in medical technology, pharmacy, business administration, or a similar field.
A minimum of 10 years of executive leadership experience within the medical device industry is required.
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams effectively while demonstrating personal integrity and steadfast resolve.
Fluent in German and English.
