We are seeking a dynamic and highly analytical Financial Analyst to join our team, who will play a key role in supporting commercial financial planning and providing valuable business insights. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with collaborators like Commercial Development, Program Management, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to improve financial transparency, pinpoint risks and opportunities, and question the status quo. This role is crucial in helping the business align financial objectives with overall strategic goals and in enabling senior management to make informed decisions.
Key responsibilities:
1. Work closely with leaders to provide financial insights, helping them make data-driven decisions that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
2. Own the development and submission of the annual financial target, mid- to long-term strategic plans and regular outlook updates with a focus on top-line.
3. Design and implement financial models that facilitate proactive decision-making.
4. Improve the analytical capabilities of the business and educate leadership teams on financial metrics such as average pricing and associated revenue streams.
5. Provide in-depth analysis and decision support on pricing, financial analysis for contract negotiations, supply contracts, financial modeling, project evaluations, performance measures and business goal development.
6. Contribute to global responsibility for financial and management accounting, ensuring adherence to IFRS.
Key requirements:
1. Require 5-7 years in financial planning, analysis, or related fields, preferably in pharma or Big 4 firms.
2. Expertise in modeling, data analysis and forecasting, with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to leadership.
5. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in reporting and analysis.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
7. Proactively seeks to understand customer and the market needs.
