Enabled by our proprietary drug discovery platform, Deciphera has developed a diverse pipeline of wholly-owned drug candidates. QINLOCK (ripretinib) is Deciphera’s switch control inhibitor developed for the treatment of fourth-line GIST. QINLOCK is approved in Australia, Canada, China, the European Union, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United States, and the United Kingdom. We wholly own QINLOCK and all of our drug candidates with the exception of a development and commercialization out-license agreement for QINLOCK in Greater China. In addition to QINLOCK, we have identified and advanced multiple product candidates from our platform into clinical studies, including vimseltinib and DCC-3116.
Job Description Your Role:
Work closely with the Director of Marketing, the cross-functional partners and the affiliates on the launch and brand planning for Deciphera’s products in the International region with main focus in Europe, including development and implementation of promotional messaging, personal and non-personal marketing.
Be a champion for using digital engagement with HCPs and patients: Focus on campaign and experience design, channel strategy, website content management, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), media and e-mail campaign planning, and social media strategies.
Identify and implement new ways of marketing to audiences through digital innovation.
Work closely with Global Marketing and the affiliate commercial leads to ensure consistent pull through of marketing strategy and activities.
Identify Market Research and insight needs for Deciphera’s products, and work with Market Insights to implement appropriate studies.
Act as an integral part of congress planning team and pull-through flawless congress execution.
Manage marketing partner agency relationships, workflow, and related expense budgets.
Qualifications What You'll Bring:
University degree in business or sciences or related discipline. MBA strongly preferred.
Five (5+) or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
4+ years of experience in delivering on-line marketing projects with measurable outcomes.
Must have a strong understanding of rare diseases and oncology market and have launch experience in Europe.
Eager to work in a fast-paced environment, striving for excellence in everything we do, alongside a team driven by improving the lives of patients.
Track record of working effectively across stakeholders at all levels, influencing without authority, collaboration, and communication skills. Maintains a “no job is too big or too small” attitude necessary to succeed in a startup environment.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in the work environment. Manages competing demands. Changes approach or method to best fit the situation. Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events with maturity and professionalism.
