Administrative management of the project

3. Respond to the demands of the Client within the contract frame to guarantee satisfaction
4. Manage addenda in case of additional demands of the Client
5. Plan the project in terms of deadlines, resources, costs
6. Follow-up the planning and make sure that the deadlines are met
7. Organize, lead and document project meetings
8. Propose and enforce appropriate measures in case of issues
9. Inform the Client about the progress of the project
10. Manage partners and subconsultants
11. Close and archive the project
Financial management of the project
12. Invoice the services according to the contract
13. Follow-up the cashing of the invoices, prepare the necessary reminders
14. Prepare the monthly WIP and quarterly RAF reports
Technical management of the project
15. Coordinate the technical options of the project
16. Assure the technical quality of the project
17. Decide the options in case of technical conflict
Human resources management of the project
18. Plan the suitable resources on the project
19. Support the project team in its work
20. Manage the eventual disputes within the project team
Quality Management of the project
21. Keep the project file updated
22. Prepare the Quality Plan of the project
23. Organize all the reviews requested by the Quality Management System
Qualifications
24. Hydropower background and more than 15 years’ work experience from power utilities, engineering companies or power sector consulting companies
25. Open mind and enthusiasm about hydropower
26. Higher professional degree in civil engineering (B.Sc. or higher)
27. Degree in Project Management would be a strong asset
28. Preferably experience in management of hydropower projects, incl. experience in client interaction and capability to meet deadlines
29. Experience with international contracting (e.g. FIDIC) as well as EPCM
30. Willingness to travel worldwide
31. Excellent report writing, presentation and verbal communication skills
32. Fluency in English.
33. French, German or Italian an asset
