The Position
As the organiser of some of the biggest and most iconic sport events in the world we lead the way in the sport and event industry.
We are now looking for a Senior FIFA Trophy Tour Manager that is part of FIFA and supports us on our mission.
These are your key tasks:
1. Project lead for the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola, the FIFA Club World Cup Trophy Tour and the FIFA Women's World Cup Trophy Tour
2. Lead the RFP process to identify a partner Marketing Agency as well as the development of the Trophy Tour strategy and event concepts
3. Manage relationships with key external and internal stakeholders
4. Work closely with global Coca-Cola project responsible, Coca-Cola in the Host Countries and local market teams for FWC
5. Work closely with Member Associations (MAs) and Participating Clubs for FCWC and FWWC respectively
6. Lead Trophy Tour dedicated team (Internal staff + pool of freelancers) in the delivery of the events
7. Budget planning and management
8. Ensure effective working processes between internal FIFA departments
9. Provide FIFA, Coca-Cola, MAs, Clubs, other stakeholders timely and accurate information on events and activation opportunities
10. Lead delivery of the 3 projects on the ground from planning to on-site execution
11. Project reporting including comprehensive debrief
12. Advise LOCs in their Trophy Experience concepts for Other FIFA events
13. Manage trophy appearance schedule and implementation during the respective tournaments
14. Acquire knowledge of project rights and commitments
15. Develop understanding of Commercial Affiliates' product categories, including Commercial Affiliates competitors
16. Contribute to market and competitive analysis
17. Manage all marketing approvals related to the projects
18. Provide timely responses to all requests
19. Supply solutions to facilitate activations
20. Provide support to FIFA communication channels in order to ensure accurate and timely coverage of tour is represented through a variety of platforms
21. Provide onsite support to appointed FIFA media spokespeople during tours
22. Potential to act as FIFA spokesperson as/when required during tour

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
23. University degree required
24. 8-10 years experience of marketing, event management or account servicing with a client or agency
25. 2-3 years experience of Trophy Tours or any similar project
26. Strong understanding of the business of sports, with preferable prior experience with global sports events and preferably FIFA events
27. Solid understanding of political relations with Host Countries government bodies
28. Solid understanding of digital, social media and content strategies, as well as implementation
29. Event management & operational experience with strong project management skills
30. Global and cross-cultural mindset
31. Fluent in English. Additional languages beneficial
32. Ability to be flexible and adopt an innovative mindset
33. Understanding of commercial affiliates and Member Associations' business and marketing objectives
34. Proactive and constantly looking to add value for all stakeholders
35. Capability to multi-task under pressure and set priorities
36. Excellent oral and written communication skills
