As our Global Product Manager Valves you will be part of the Global Hot & Cold Water Controls Category team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the portfolio globally and ensuring the successful execution of product strategies. Furthermore, you will play a critical role in driving product performance, aligning global marketing and launch initiatives with local market needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position can be located in Switzerland, Germany, Finland, Spain, or any other European country.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the assigned product portfolio and its performance: Oversee sales, profitability, market share, and brand strength ensuring alignment with overall category objectives and identifying/implementing actions to close performance gaps.
* Collaborate with the category manager to develop and implement strategies that ensure global competitiveness and customer relevance.
* Support the product lifecycle (PLC) process from ideation to launch and phaseout, including pricing strategies that balance profitability and market penetration.
* Stay informed about global market and customer trends to provide insights that inform product decisions through VOC exercises and qualitative as well as quantitative market analyses.
* Contribute to innovation efforts: Participate in innovation initiatives and ensure successful product launches within the product lines.
* Work closely with regional teams to tailor product offerings, messaging, and go-to-market strategies and to provide sales teams with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively sell and support the product portfolio.
Your profile:
* A master's or bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field (an MBA is a plus).
* More than 5 years of experience in product management or a related role within the building products industry (plumbing industry experience/training is a big plus).
* Proven track record of successfully managing and developing product portfolios in all 5 P dimensions with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a focus on data-driven decision-making.
* Excellent skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously alongside the PLC and new product development processes.
* Strong communication skills to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse management levels and stakeholders.
* Very good command of English.
