CONTEXT This Senior Demand Planning role is responsible for maintaining spare parts demand forecasts for the worldwide business to support our rider commitments. This individual will generate short- and long-term forecasts, including lifecycle support. This role requires a high level of collaboration and a proactive approach in gathering inputs from cross-functional stakeholders to integrate into plans. This individual is expected to understand market service trends, recognize regional transactional differences, and identify the parts application in our rider support strategies.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Develop and maintain short, medium, and long-term demand plans to support company goals.
Collaborate with product teams, rider care teams, markets, finance, and supply chain teams to gather inputs to support the demand plan creation for the company.
Drive overall efficiency in our forecasting and help develop internal best practices for planning and demand forecast templates.
Serve as a service and warranty reporting, analytics, and KPI subject matter expert for the business.
Analyze regional trends across different channels, changes in warranty usage, model rider care service action plans, and service parts based corrective field actions.
Prepare and present reports about demand forecasts, risks, and opportunities to relevant stakeholders across a range of functions.
Identify gaps, opportunities, and risks within business planning processes and make recommendations that support functional objectives.
Measure and drive qualitative and quantitative progress against identified action items.
Support the strategic roadmap for Service & Warranty planning through cross-functional collaboration, improving processes, implementing advanced forecasting techniques, and integrating new system solutions.
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in demand planning, financial forecasting, or a similar role.
Experience in reporting, statistical analytics, and data presentation in combination with the ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and technology.
Strong working knowledge of Oracle and related business intelligence and analytical applications.
Expertise in BI/Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Expert Excel user, proficient in MS office. Familiar with Atlassian, Confluence and JIRA.
Experience in utilizing ERP and data aggregation specific systems.
Experience in programming languages (SQL, Python, R, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Attention to detail and an internal drive for accuracy.
Ability to think creatively and analyze data while facing pressure, ambiguity, and uncertainty.
