CFO, Member of the Leadership Team (m/f/d) As part of a planned succession, we are seeking a committed CFO with proven international leadership experience and exceptional expertise in finance and administration. Tasks / Responsibilities: Develop and plan the financial strategy, including budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting, and contribute to the development and implementation of the corporate strategy
Lead your Finance & IT team and support and interact with the 4 legal entities abroad
Be responsible for financial reporting to external and internal stakeholders, ensuring the financial reporting meets legal requirements
Assess and manage financial and operational risks, and define appropriate control actions
Take on responsibility for raising capital and investments, and the communication with banks and financial stakeholders
Support and lead acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and other strategic transactions
Be responsible for the strategic tax planning, transfer pricing and treasury
Ensure compliance and governance concerning: UBO filings, Code of Conduct, ABC Policies, ESG requirements
Assess risks and implement measures for the secure and efficient operation in the IT environment (cybersecurity measures and employee training)
Your Profile: Degree in Business Administration and additional training in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field, along with relevant experience
Approx. 5+ years of international experience in a similar position
Proven and grounded leadership skills with a focus on people and performance
Being a team player with a positive mind-set, absolute integrity and “sparring partner attitude”
Exceptional communication and negotiations skills (e.g. presenting on executive level)
Professional experience in an international commodity procurement context is an advantage, experience with Africa is an advantage
Ability with Excel and MS tools, experience with SAP, SAGE and IBM Cognos is an advantage
Ability to understand industrial production processes
Excellent verbal and written English and French language skills
Willingness for regular business travelling as required
