Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Support Underwriting and Operations teams with policy administration, invoicing, and other administrative tasks.
* Enter risk and policy data into Operations systems within defined service levels.
* Manage Salesforce prospects and ensure timely submission of booking information.
* Maintain high data quality in Operations systems through checks and reviews.
* Process taxes, premiums, and brokerage statements in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Policy Administration / Booking
* Enter risk and policy data into Operations systems within defined service levels.
* Control proactively Salesforce prospects on an ongoing basis.
* Ensure high data quality in Operations systems.
* Establish premium invoices within a set timeframe after inception.
* Establish brokerage and Co-Insurance statement within a set timeframe after receiving premium payment.
Credit Control
* Work on aged debt on a weekly basis.
* Ensure overdue debt is reported to Underwriters and execute on agreed actions.
* Keep Finance team informed about stage and comments in Eclipse.
* Handle bordereaux and share claims information with Claims team.
* Process premium payments and policy assignments in a timely manner.
Administration / Other
* Drive continuous improvement of Operations processes.
* Support global Operations projects implementation.
* Inform internal/external stakeholders proactively.
* Filing of Operations documentation is complete.
* Assist in training of underwriters and new admin staff as required.
Requirements
* Technical accounting or similar experience.
* Preferably with insurance background.
* Ideal candidate worked in technical accounting department of a corporate insurance unit/company.
Skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proactive and team worker.
* Capable of multitasking and flexible when delegating tasks.
* Curious and able to learn independently.
