As a Presales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating leads and expanding opportunities with customers. You will work closely with our sales teams to understand customer needs and develop effective solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a broad-reaching expertise in software, security, and networking. In this role, you will gather and assess customer technical needs, identify site-specific parameters and constraints that impact the solution, and understand the architecture of appropriate technical solutions.
You will also investigate and optimize a solution's fit to the requirements of an opportunity, maintain excellent communications with customers and partners, advance opportunity through effective consultative selling to build customer trust, and deliver customer and partner workshops for further understanding of issues and buy-in to HPE Aruba Networking proposals.
Additional responsibilities include providing leadership roles in peer education programs, driving and influencing new RFP/RFI initiatives from the territories, ensuring HPE Aruba Networking innovation is driven into accounts with New Product Introduction, and building relationships to key technical experts within our partners to maximize winning new business.
Requirements
* Technical University or Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* > 5 years of advanced job experience in technology (Pre-, or Post-sales)
* Technical and/or solution experience e.g. Security, AI, ML knowledge, wireless and firewall understanding, experience with network security (f. ex. RADIUS) and policy management
* Networker with exceptional communication skills across varying levels of customer management
* Able to immerse oneself quickly into the company to understand the company product roadmaps for multiple BUs and attain a deep knowledge of the HPE Aruba Networking Legacy portfolio
* Demonstrate a broad knowledge of appropriate technology & solutions
* Strong strategic and conceptual thinking skills; link company solutions with data business center needs to create customer business value
* Ability to leverage financial and accounting concepts as well as capital investment concepts when demonstrating a solution's business value to customers
* Extensive hands-on level skills with some of the technology e.g., building solutions with partners and clients
* Established credibility and customer loyalty; within your past/current company and account teams, based on your strong history of solid results and contributions
* Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
