As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking a Finance Manager, based in our premium Lausanne HQ office space, who will oversee Swiss finance operations and serve as a strategic partner to the Swiss Country Manager.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure financial integrity and operational excellence, with functional reporting to the Group CFO based in Dubai.
YOUR MISSION
Accounting
* Oversee daily accounting activities for both HQ and the Swiss market, in collaboration with an external accounting firm (AP, AR, fixed assets, reconciliations)
* Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring accurate forecasting and planning.
Operational Excellence:
* Oversee ERP data accuracy, ensuring seamless financial processes
* Drive continuous improvement in local financial operations to support business scalability
Financial Controlling:
* Allocate, coordinate and control revenue and cost bookings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with forecasts/budgets
* Continuously monitor and analyze planned, committed, and incurred costs, identifying budget constraints proactively
Planning & Forecasting:
* Collaborate with Country Manager, Sales, Business Segments, and Project teams to prepare precise budgets and forecasts
* Ensure alignment of revenue, costs, and cash flows with accounting standards and project goals
Financial Reporting & Closing:
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to validate reports and ensure accurate month-end closing
* Review monthly postings to ensure compliance with accounting regulations
* Consolidate market monthly reporting and prepare annual accounts
Audits & Compliance:
* Lead internal audits; Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring compliance and transparency
* Ensure adherence to IFRS/IAS standards and corporate financial policies
YOUR PROFILE
* Master's degree in Finance or Accounting
* 5 years of experience in financial accounting, controlling, consolidation, and reporting, with international exposure preferably in an industrial or FMCG project business
* Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting standards as well as international financial reporting standards.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite) and MS Office tools. Financial tools such as Xero, QuickBooks are a plus
* Fluent in French and English; German is a strong plus.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international scale-up environment and taking initiative.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly to management and collaborate effectively with teams and external partners.
* Hands-on approach with a willingness to drive change and improve financial operations.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
* Enthusiastic, ambitious, and eager to contribute to a growing company.
