Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concierge to provide exceptional guest experiences and support the Chef Concierge in their absence.
Responsibilities
* Support and representation of the Chef Concierge, ensuring seamless operations at the concierge desk.
* Leadership and responsibility for staff members at the concierge desk, promoting a positive and efficient work environment.
* Organization and completion of internal and external tasks on behalf of guests, maintaining high standards of service quality.
* Serving as the primary point of contact for questions and issues, providing prompt and professional assistance.
* Ensuring the safe handling and distribution of mail and the swift response to fire alarms.
* Fostering sales of hotel services and fulfilling special guest requests, driving revenue growth and guest satisfaction.
* Professional handling of guest complaints, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
* Maintaining adherence to hotel-specific standards and quality management (AMS) procedures.
* Implementing Environmental Management System (EMS) standards, promoting sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
* Responsibility for reservations, including tee times, taxis, and external restaurant bookings.
Your Profile
* Degree in hospitality management or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in hotel operations.
* Proven experience in a similar position at a comparable establishment, showcasing leadership skills and industry knowledge.
* Fluency in English, with proficiency in at least one additional language (German or French), facilitating communication with international guests.
* Confident and professional communication skills, both spoken and written, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and guests.
* Strong knowledge of the local cultural landscape, allowing for tailored recommendations and enhancing the guest experience.
* Familiarity with all reception processes, ensuring seamless integration with front-of-house teams.
