Responsible for overseeing multiple points of sales (POS) at Zurich Airport, including the Lindt Boutique (Flagship) and Island, in collaboration with Avolta. to achieve financial and branding objectives. Consistent with the short- and long-term strategy of the company, its employees and its customers, and ensuring the highest level of customer service possible.
Management & Organization Be responsible for the Lindt Boutique & Chocolate Island, including all POS at Zurich Airport while achieving top-line revenue targets in alignment with Avolta
Ensure the right brand image, proper merchandising and adherence to brand guidelines
Handle projects and additional tasks in alignment with Sales and Marketing teams
Ensure optimal staff coverage in coordination with shop floor management and Avolta
Be a role model for the Maître Chocolatier and staff, ensuring optimal service, collaboration, and follow-up of training and coaching activities
Ensure compliance with all HACCP requirements
Sales & Retail Responsibilities Daily and monthly sales target setting in alignment with Avolta and follow-up per POS
Responsible for achieving budgeted sales targets by proactively driving and motivating the team
Regular briefing to the staff on POS on targets and sales achievement
Regular alignment with the local Avolta shop floor team to ensure proper visibility and merchandising in line with brand guidelines
Price and promotion monitoring across all POS
Give regular updates on competitors and their performance
Review and coordinate stock management with Avolta stock manager for all POS
Customer relation Build and nurture an excellent relationship with Avolta and FZAG to ensure seamless collaboration, drive business growth and enhance brand presence at Zurich Airport
Act as the primary representative for Lindt in local Avolta meetings, effectively communicating brand strategies, aligning operational goals, and fostering mutually beneficial initiatives to maximize sales performance and customer engagement
Marketing responsibilities Coordinate with Lindt Marketing and third parties the implementation of in store activations
Plan and organize samplings and trade marketing material deliveries
KPIs & Analysis Review stores' progress vs targets
Monthly Sell-out analysis by POS and at SKU level to analyze performance and take corrective actions to optimize merchandising and drive results
Finance Process and follow up on invoices payment
Follow-up on spent versus budget
When you fit in with us
Professional Background : 5+ years of experience in retail
Several years of relevant work experience as a Shop Manager or in a comparable role in the hospitality/gastronomy sector
Experience with HACCP-related topics
Skills & Competencies: Proven leadership qualities
Strong communication and leadership skills with high customer orientation and entrepreneurial approach
Professional appearance, friendly and proactive nature
Flexibility regarding work schedules, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility
Persuasive and target-oriented sales personality
Affinity for numbers and very good organizational skills
Good Microsoft Office skills
Education Requitement: Degree in retail or college degree (university of applied sciences/hotel school)
Other basic education is acceptable with sufficient relevant work experience (especially in customer-facing roles)
Language Requitement: Fluent in German and English (additional language is a plus)
