How you can make a difference:
1. Responsible for preparing the consolidated financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER.
2. Responsible for the overall consolidation process and review of inter-company transactions and profit eliminations, ownership of the consolidated trial balance.
3. Coordinate, manage, and support monthly/annual consolidation close activities for timeliness, accuracy, and completeness.
4. Participate in the implementation / maintenance / upgrade of financial consolidation and reporting systems to ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP FER and management requirements.
5. Work with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance with Swiss GAAP FER.
6. Involved in identifying, documenting, and implementing changes to Group reporting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP FER requirements.
7. Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive accounting manuals that outline company policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with Swiss GAAP FER.
8. Develop and update the preparation of notes to the financial statements for the annual report.
9. Manage and support external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing necessary documentation and explanations.
That's what you bring along:
1. You are an accountant or have a comparable qualification and at least 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in medium to large-sized companies.
2. Great knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping and taxation.
3. Confident handling of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
4. Proficient in working with ERP systems ideally Microsoft D365.
5. Great English communication skills (written & spoken).
6. You are used to working independently, but at the same time you are a team player and can convince with your communication skills. You are also resilient and flexible.
