Job Description:
* Draft comprehensive financial analyses for credit protocols.
* Analyze the substance and form of files to inform decision-making conclusions.
* Conduct reviews and analysis of credit protocols submitted by the Front Office, collaborating with the team on improvements and developing decision-making conclusions for committee approval.
* Cultivate collateral documentation in coordination with the Front Office and Legal teams to ensure acquisition and enforceability.
* Present credit files to the Division Head and comment on decision-making conclusions.
* Enter validated credit lines into the transaction tracking system accurately.
* Review and validate major counterparty, service provider, broker, and insurance accreditation requests.
* Maintain continuous interaction with other teams involved in Global Commodity Finance activities.
* Stay informed about market developments, key players in the commodity sector, and regulatory changes affecting financing.
* Propose solutions for optimizing processes and tools in Credit Review activities.
* Occasionally participate in managing contentious and pre-contentious files.
* Participate in significant development projects within the Credit & Transaction Management activity.
The Successful Applicant:
* Must have experience as a Credit Officer/Analyst with banks active in commodity trading finance, or equivalent experience with an audit firm managing a portfolio of commodity trading clients.
* Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of risk aspects related to commodity trading financing.
* Be a native French speaker with a good command of English.
* Possess excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
* Show strong analytical, synthesis, and presentation abilities.
* Be able to work under pressure and demonstrate a strong team spirit.
