Within Siemens Smart Infrastructure (SI), you will be part of our Buildings business unit, which brings together the full portfolio of products, software and services for buildings and adjacent infrastructure.
In our quest to revolutionize the world's infrastructure, we are seeking a Senior Sales Strategy & Performance Manager for our Growth & Performance team within our SI Buildings Business Unit .
Location: Zug - Switzerland, UK, European Union OR United States of America - NYC, DC or Atlanta. Prerequisite is in any case your legal eligibility to work in the respective country. There is no need to relocate.
The Role
This role focuses on enhancing Local Country Businesses (LCBs) in Sales Performance and Go-to-Market (G2M) strategies to support the SI Building strategy. It involves driving sales performance through regular dialogues, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing necessary support. The role includes sales coaching, guidance, and competency development while ensuring CRM adoption and G2M implementation.
Additionally, it defines and enforces guidelines and procedures, acting as a trusted advisor to senior management.
Your new responsibilities
Sales Performance Dialogues - Drive and facilitate sales performance discussions, ensuring LCBs sales performance
LCB Sales Coaching, Guidance & Support - Provide strategic coaching and advisory to LCB sales leaders, ensuring best practices are implemented
G2M Implementation Support - Support the execution of Go-to-Market strategies in LCBs to enhance global sales effectiveness across all channels and sales motions, and to enhance the sales efficiency
Engagement with TU's (Technology Units) - Collaborate with TU stakeholders to drive targeted sales initiatives within assigned LCBs
Sales Knowledge Exchange - Facilitate exchange of sales strategies and best practices between TUs and LCBs
Special LCB initiatives - Coordinate and execute special projects aimed at improving sales performance on site (Tiger team)
Sales Competency Development - Identify competency gaps and define training requirements in line with LCB sales priorities
Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) Development - Contribute to the design and optimization of the sales incentive program to drive performance
CRM System (SieSales) Adoption & Optimization - Ensure proper utilization and continuous improvement of SieSales
Your talents and experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical engineering OR in Business Administration
Sound Market knowledge in the Buildings Business Technology industry, with Siemens/ comparable portfolio a must have
3 years plus of experience with Contract Management & Negotiation
3 to 5 years of experience with Sales in product, solution, and service business
Experience in Leading a marketing & sales organization
Experience in communication and cooperation with senior management and peers in other organizations
Work experience in an international, multi-cultural environment
Be a team player who delivers results on time and in high quality and have experience working with global and remote teams and are willing work in an agile environment
Fluent in English and can explain complex topic in an engageable way
Fluent German is a plus. Additional languages are welcome
