Tech. Team Lead Logistics Manufacturing Upstream
MAIN PURPOSE
In charge of managing the Logistic Manuf Upstream Product/Team as a direct report to the Product Area Manager (PAM) Logistic.
Coordinate and interact with onsite team and as well with L3 offshore support team (in Manila)
Design, realization and continuous improvement of the template
Provides high level of expertise for the area of Logistics in the context of Manufacturing within the Global Richemont OPS&BF department (Operation Services & Business Foundation).
In charge of support and streamline the organization along the SAP implementation.
Acts as facilitator to optimize interaction between functional and technical consultants and business functions
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Being part of the OPS&BF department extended management team
Ensure implementation of the strategic direction given by the OPS&BF integration management
Develop and maintain with Product Owner (PO), Business Process Owner Logistics (BPO), Business Logistic Manufacturing, Brand (Maisons) & Richemont business functions a global template based on the Richemont business model
Ensure implementation and maintenance of the global template in terms of systems, processes & functions on a worldwide scale
Translate the strategic MBO (Management by Objectives) process by defining and applying SMART objectives for the Logistic Manuf Upstream Product/Team
Actively participate in the budget set up and review of the responsible area
Managing and Developing teams in close collaboration with the Product Area Manager
Conduct and effectively implement the individual performance management process of the Logistic Manuf Upstream Product/Team and propose compensation reviews where and when appropriate
Prepare development plan with team members
Set up & ensure different roles and responsibilities (project manager, Integration expert, support coordinator, regional coordinators) are appropriately filled in the team
Set up & ensure responsibility matrix incl. deputies
Ensure efficient and smooth information and communication flow within the Logistic Manuf Upstream Product/Team and as well a thorough communication across teams and good integration of external team members
Being in charge of the Logistic Manuf Upstream Product/Team
Design & implementation of a global template solution with key focus on SAP EWM, Tulip and product compliance in close cooperation with business responsible (PO, BPO, Experts and key users)
Redesign of existing processes
Design of specific business requirements, if required and agreed
Ensure appropriate project management especially for roll outs
Provide & ensure training during roll outs and for the regional competence centre to enable a proper 2nd level support
Provide & ensure a good maintenance quality
Provide & ensure a good quality of documentation (Template, Customizing, Development specification)
PRE-REQUISITES FOR THE JOB
Education
University degree in Information technology or engineering
In case no university degree actual hands on experience (4+ years) in the area of Logistic SAP EWM implementations are sufficient, including proven experience on management of people and projects
Areas of competencies
Proven experience in managing teams (projects or within an IT organization)
Proven experience in SAP EWM
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Credibility as a central contact for the business
Specific knowledge
Besides having extended knowledge on SAP EWM 9.5/S4 a solid integration knowledge with SAP ECC modules (e.g. PTP, OTC etc.) is required
Experience with MES integration, Kardex (or similar) integrations, RF Guns and other logistic centric tools, e.g. scales are a plus
Professional experience
Min. 4 years of SAP EWM hands on experience
Full SAP cycle implementations
International experience
Languages
English and French is a must have
Required aptitude and qualities
Entrepreneurial, proactive communication skills, ability to challenge business departments
Thinking in standardized, harmonized and user-friendly solutions
Team-minded, doesn’t look for a 9-5 job and willing to go the extra mile to make it happen
Willingness to travel, up to 40% is needed
Ability to work independently, but to understand whenever communication to his peers or superiors in the SAPCC or business organization is required.
