* Seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality therapy to individuals on a mostly weekly basis.
* Reassess patient situations and provide appropriate follow-up care based on their current needs.
* Maintain proper notes and documentation.
* Guide clients in the development of skills and strategies to deal with their problems.
* Create a safe space for clients to come to where they feel seen and heard.
* Evaluate the client's mental condition based on the review of client information and develop treatment plans.
* Build a trusting relationship and rapport with clients.
* Offer resources and referrals when needed.
* Determine the status of patients' mental health through various assessments.
* Provide crisis intervention as needed.
* Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
* Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer appropriate follow-up care.
Requirements
* Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills.
* 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required.
* Training and/or experience in treating anxiety and trauma-related disorders.
* EMDR training preferred.
* Licensed LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist required.
* Licensed in TX required.
* Comfortable working remotely required.
* Proficient in virtual technology (e.g., Gmail, Zoom, electronic EHR) required.
* Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; master's degree preferred.
* CPR and BLS certifications required.
* Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or the equivalent required.
