Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the Insurance market and expertise in Guidewire Insurance Suite to join a major IT transformation project within a leading insurance company.
This role will focus on Claims Management within the broader scope of digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical and business acumen, be able to communicate fluently in English, and possess knowledge of German or French as a second language.
Your Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in the insurance domain, including business and IT teams, to define requirements for Claims transformation initiatives.
* Conduct detailed business analysis, focusing on understanding business needs, identifying solutions, and documenting functional requirements and use cases.
* Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of requirements.
* Work with Guidewire Insurance Suite to ensure the implementation aligns with the business goals and requirements.
* Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders, ensuring alignment across business and technical teams.
* Provide guidance to developers and quality assurance teams to ensure the solutions delivered meet business requirements.
* Contribute to change management activities and assist in training and documentation for end-users.
* Support project management teams with risk identification, issue resolution, and status reporting.
Your Skills:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance industry, with a focus on Claims Management.
* Strong experience working with Guidewire Insurance Suite (GW ClaimCenter in particular) (Guidewire certifications are a plus).
* Solid understanding of the insurance claims process and IT transformation projects.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in German or French is highly preferred.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with agile methodologies and tools.
* Knowledge of additional technologies and platforms in the insurance domain.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the Swiss insurance market.
