As an IT Infrastructure & Network Administrator - DevOps, you will hold a transversal role within the company, reporting to the CTO. This position is based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Responsibilities
* Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of the network (POPs in Switzerland, France, and Belgium), servers, and virtualization layer
* Install and upgrade servers’ components and software, manage virtual servers and implement automation processes whenever possible
* Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritising problems, and assessing impact of issues
* Assess, document, plan, communicate and implement new or upgrades of IT infrastructure hardware / software
* Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
* Deploy, configure and monitor (proprietary) applications
* Identify/qualify infrastructure and processes improvement opportunities and propose solutions accordingly
* Provide training and support to internal and external teams as needed
* Take part of the on-call support team
* Stay up-to-speed with emerging technologies
Must Have
* 3+ years of experience in a similar position
* Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent experience
* Good level spoken and written English and French
* Proven experience in systems (Linux & Windows) and network administration
* Good knowledge of virtualization and containerization software
* Good knowledge of some databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
* Proven experience in implementing CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins, …) and IT automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, …)
* Knowledge of the major Cloud providers (GCP, AWS, …)
Would be nice
* Knowledge of video technologies and equipments (encoding (H264, H265, Mpeg 2/4), streaming (MPEG-DASH, HLS, SCTE standards, etc.)
