About J&J MedTech
As a senior member of the Network Technical team, this role will be responsible for the implementation of stable, compliant, and capable processes into the DPS Internal Manufacturing Network and for meeting projects FPO’s of capacity, product cost, budget, and timeline. Within this leadership scope will be a talent development strategy that both delivers the project and ensures continuity of knowledge transfer to manufacturing operations whilst leveraging expertise developed throughout the existing manufacturing.
Summary
The Lead, Orthopaedics Supply Chain Analytics, focuses on driving data-driven improvements and enabling efficient, profitable, and compliant growth through advanced forecasting, inventory management, and last-mile capability enhancements. The role uses analytical expertise to optimize performance metrics, support critical initiatives, and enhance decision-making processes across global Orthopaedics markets. This position contributes to the deployment of the Global Orthopaedics Last Mile Operating Model across key Orthopaedics markets, enhancing operational performance to support profitable growth. Additionally, the role supports programs, processes, and organizational capabilities to achieve business objectives related to Planning and Cash Flow Management, working closely with regional and global supply chain, commercial, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecast and Inventory Model Analysis and Improvement:
* Analyze and refine forecast and inventory models to improve accuracy and applicability, aligning them with business objectives.
* Evaluate the impact of forecast and inventory model improvements on key performance measures (e.g., MAPE, BIAS, FVA) and cash flow, using insights to drive continuous optimization.
* Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to integrate forecasting and inventory improvements into broader supply chain strategies.
* Develop and maintain documentation of standard methodologies to ensure scalability and consistent application across Orthopaedics markets.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Serve as a subject matter expert on supply chain analytics, providing data-driven recommendations to improve supply chain performance.
* Collaborate with partners in supply chain, commercial, and finance teams to ensure alignment on priorities and objectives.
* Leverage advanced analytics and visualization tools to present complex data in an accessible and actionable format for decision-making.
Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technical, or Operations subject areas required.
Experience and Skills:
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Planning, S&OP, Demand Planning, or Inventory Management or other Business roles.
* Strong analytical capability to understand sophisticated demand planning topics, identify patterns and drivers, and implement data-driven changes to improve forecast accuracy and reliability.
* Strong communication, advocacy, and decision-making skills with the ability to collaborate across geographies in a complex, matrix environment.
* Proven expertise in process management and leading cross-functional global projects.
* Lean or Six Sigma certification (preferred).
