Role Overview:
The Media Relations & Content Specialist will support EFG's earned media strategy, handle standard media enquiries, write media releases, advise regional private banking businesses on media-related matters, and manage daily/weekly media monitoring.
This role includes managing media publishing systems, collaborating with IT, Digital Marketing manager, and vendor management.
A significant part of content management and production involves editing and publishing across all channels with a focus on investment expertise, thought leadership, sponsorship, ESG, HR, and next generation.
Driving digitalisation and automation in Corporate Communications is also part of the job.
Main Responsibilities
* Support EFG's corporate positioning through high-quality earned media activities to increase brand awareness and positioning.
* Manage standard media enquiries, including internal information flow.
* Draft communication materials, such as media releases, media statements, briefing documents, and social media posts.
* Lead and manage media relations publishing across channels.
* Publish daily press reviews and contribute to weekly media summary documents.
* Support editorial planning and content production for EFG's multi-channel approach.
* Identify opportunities to drive automation and efficiency.
* Ensure activities and content comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
* University degree in Journalism and/or Communications.
* Experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
* Excellent English writing and editing skills; good knowledge of German is a plus; Italian or French language skills are an advantage.
* Ability to work under pressure with short deadlines and high flexibility required.
* Strong project management, organisational, and time management skills.
* Entrepreneurial attitude, strong focus on developing and delivering solutions.
* Proficient in MS Office tools and knowledge of CMS, web, and social media publishing.
