We are now hiring a Senior Security Manager for our security teams at our Swiss Sites. You will be mainly located in Galgenen, Switzerland.
Job Description:
In this role, you will be managing our complex Swiss organization including our Galgenen, Lachen, Wohlen, Wollerau and Zurich (our Swiss Affiliate office) in order to protect the organization’s employees, properties and all items of value from any preventable harm or danger within the framework of the ELC Corporate policies and procedures. You will also be leading the security teams at all of the sites (ca. 20-25 external & internal employees).
Your main responsibilities include:
Ensuring 24/7 security for all Estee Lauder premises (in Lachen, Galgenen, Wohlen, Wollerau, and Zurich (Switzerland affiliate)) and external warehouses as needed.
Acting as the primary security contact for incidents in Switzerland.
Supervising and directly managing security staff, approving rosters, monitoring performance, and resolving queries.
Maintaining and applying security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Conducting security audits in the DACH region and sometimes at EMEA Level, in relation with other departments at Estée Lauder Companies.
Improving and drafting new procedures as necessary.
Providing security guidance and support to the local management team.
Conducting or supporting security investigations.
Assisting the Sr. Security Manager EMEA in securing people, products, and premises throughout the EMEA supply chain.
Reporting discrepancies or incidents related to the Supply Chain.
Preventing and minimizing losses of stored goods and goods in transit.
Managing the Known Shipper program, including follow-up, training, and compliance.
Implementing and enforcing S.O.P. with transport companies and third parties.
Building relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services.
Developing and conducting security-related training and awareness programs for employees.
Collaborating with other ELC Security Managers and regional staff.
Acting as the Regional Security Manager on duty as per the duty roster.
We are looking for someone who brings: Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in law Enforcement Agencies, Private Investigator or Military.
A driver’s license is a must.
Fluent German skills (written & spoken) as well as fluent English skills.
Strong leadership skills and experience in leading teams.
Flexible and willing to support multiple demands, adapt easily to change, and have excellent communication skills in order to deal with stakeholders on all levels.

Willingness to travel within Switzerland and to our EMEA sites for auditing purposes (i.e. Germany, Italy, Austria and France).
