Senior System Engineer (UWB Technology)

About the Role
As a Senior System Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to drive the development of next-generation UWB solutions, collaborating with a talented team of experts to shape the future of this exciting technology.
Key Responsibilities
1. Algorithm Development: Develop algorithms for the UWB radios considering the implementation complexity aspects.
2. Collaboration: Collaborate with digital and analog designers on digital and mixed-signal requirements' specifications for UWB baseband and analog features.
3. Specification Derivation: Derive clear specifications for analog and digital blocks to be implemented on chip.
4. Performance Evaluation: Evaluate performance trade-offs and propose innovative improvements to existing UWB features.
5. Leadership: Lead in an independent manner sub-projects of various UWB IP algorithm development comprehensively and ensure a smooth work process.
6. Innovation: Proactively drive the improvement of existing IPs and working flows.
7. Team Contribution: Contribute to the team's growth by helping others on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
1. Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable.
2. At least 5 years of experience in Digital Signal Processing or Communication Systems.
3. Design skills in RF transceiver modelling, Matlab, Python, SystemC.
4. Experience with signal processing and algorithm development, ideally for wireless communications or machine learning.
5. Pseudocode writing skills to be used by other teams involved in IC design.
6. Pulsed Time Radars experience is a plus.
7. Digital Design experience is also welcome.
8. English proficiency, precise and clear documenting methodology.
