Your mission and key responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with the whole engineering and operations team to gain a comprehensive understanding of the product's design specifications, supply chain and general challenges.
2. PCB Design & Prototyping: lead the design and prototyping of printed circuit boards (PCBs) to meet our innovative wearable device specifications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3. Integration & Assembly: oversee the assembly of PCB components, employing precision soldering techniques and assembly best practices to achieve high-quality production standards.
4. Design Validation & Testing: collaborate in the development and execution of design validation protocols and testing procedures, ensuring that design outputs meet all technical and quality requirements, in collaboration with engineering leads.
5. Operational Engineering Support: assist the Electronic Hardware Engineering Manager with operational engineering tasks, including design troubleshooting, process improvements, and iterative enhancements.
6. Documentation & Reporting: maintain detailed design documentation, test results, and assembly processes to support continuous improvement and facilitate knowledge sharing across the team.
7. Present findings, KPIs and solutions to internal stakeholders.
Your profile:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB design, prototyping, and assembly within the electronics or wearable device industry.
2. Strong proficiency in electronic circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout using modern design tools (Altium).
3. Hands-on experience with PCB assembly, including soldering and component integration.
4. Solid understanding of design validation and testing methodologies, with proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.

6. Previous experience in a start-up or high-growth environment, contributing to both design and operational improvements.
