Process Engineer Dry - Group Operations Description
Responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and quality within the plant.
Main Responsibilities
* Operational:
o Conduct plant process audits to identify areas for improvement in safety, quality, performance, and efficiency.
o Provide process expertise support to respond to plant operational requests, including settings, issues, optimization, etc.
* Engineering:
o Define and size optimal process solutions for new projects' investments.
o Oversee the process part of projects during the implementation phase, ensuring timely completion.
o Ensure smooth commissioning processes from commissioning to performance achievement, including operational training of employees.
* Innovation, Development, R&D:
o Develop innovative dry process solutions focusing on performance, efficiency, sustainability, and CO2 footprint reduction.
o Plan and coordinate pilot trials with pilot plants to test new process solutions.
o Create and develop tools for process definition/sizing and drive digitalization initiatives.
o Evaluate process solutions provided by third-party vendors to ensure they meet company standards.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 7 years of work experience in engineering, preferably in the mineral industry.
* Experience in dry grinding process development, optimization, and implementation.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
* Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
