NYSE-listed AgEagle Aerial Systems is seeking a talented, mid-level (5+ years), and motivated New Product Introduction Engineer to join the operations team at our senseFly located in Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland. The candidate should be able to work autonomously but able to collaborate with the other R&D team members.
AgEagle develops and produces a proprietary line of eBee-branded, high performance, fixed wing drones for professional use, in addition to cameras and sensors. Safe, ultra-light and easy to use, the autonomous drones are utilized by thousands of customers around the world in agriculture, government, engineering, and construction, among other industry verticals to collect actionable aerial intelligence.

New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer
Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the NPI Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of:
* Drive the industrialization process for new products, ensuring a smooth transition from R&D to mass production.
* Define and implement manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
* Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to anticipate potential industrialization challenges and propose solutions.
* Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) activities to optimize product manufacturability.
* Ensure the validation of new components, materials, and processes in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Coordinate prototype builds and pre-series production, analyzing results and implementing necessary corrective actions.
* Define and implement production test strategies to ensure product performance and reliability.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
* Manage risk assessments and failure mode analysis (FMEA) to mitigate industrialization risks.
* Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure component availability and supplier readiness for mass production.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or master's degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
* 5 years’ experience in an NPI or industrialization role in an industrial or high-tech environment.
* Strong understanding of product development cycles and manufacturing processes.
* Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) methodologies.
* Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and experience with risk analysis tools like FMEA.
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma).
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent coordination and communication skills to collaborate across departments and drive impactful change.
* Fluent in French and English.
