What are your tasks:
* Develop and implement long-term business strategies for the IPL department.
* Lead and manage the IPL team worldwide: recruit, train, mentor, and support team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Oversee the financial aspects of IPL, including budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
* Manage customer relationships and networking.
* Develop technical solutions and the commercial part of BID for clients and project owners.
* Promote public relationships.
* Build and maintain a diverse portfolio of carriers specializing in heavy and oversized cargo transportation for global infrastructure projects.
* Identify and manage risks associated with IPL's operations, implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
* Manage team performance, staff allocation, and resource planning to meet project requirements, monitor operational KPIs, and adjust strategies for optimal efficiency.
What professional and personal competencies are required?
* 10+ years of extensive experience in project and project cargo operations, general and OOG cargo logistics industry, with 5+ years in a managerial position within the logistics or transportation industry in an international multicultural company.
* Deep understanding of international shipping, supply chain management, customs regulations, and global trade practices.
* Knowledge of aspects of international logistics and transport.
* Strong negotiation techniques, presentation skills, networking abilities, and the capacity to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience and in-depth knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and cost optimization, with the ability to understand and create financial reports.
* Leadership skills.
* Customer orientation.
* Strong ethical standards and a commitment to integrity and transparency.
* Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Languages:
Fluent English; other foreign languages will be an asset.
