The Associate Application Verification Engineer I is responsible for:
Conducting investigational tests and contributing to changes impact assessments.
Conducting application and system design verification tests and writing test reports.
Performing data analysis by using statistical methods to identify trends.
This position reports to the Sr Manager and is part of the R&D department, Applications team located in Grens, Switzerland, and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
Be part of the R&D Biological Applications team, learn and master the Applications product lifecycle, and support the execution of a project in the context of Cell Biology.
Contribute to the functional requirements and to the project's technical documentation, such as pFMEA, Risk analysis, Tests procedures, Test plans, Tests traceability.
Conduct investigational tests, application and system design verification tests, perform data analysis, and write test reports.
Follow and work in close collaboration with Application developers and other engineers (i.e., electrical, mechanical, software, material, system) and biologists.
Support key customers and users of the Applications by contributing to the analysis of machine data and writing investigation reports.
Who you are:
Holder of a University degree (Master) in System Engineering, Computer Engineering, Life Sciences Engineering or equivalent with 0-4 years' work experience in R&D department related to Life Science industry.
Understanding programming languages like Java, Python, or C# to write and understand test scripts is a must.
Familiarity with different phases of SDLC, including requirements, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance is a must.
Knowledge or prior experience in data analysis with statistical methods, hypothesis testing to determine significance of test results, regression analysis to model relationships between variables is a must.
Fluent in English is a must.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Prior experience in participating in software testing, test cases design, bug reporting, manual testing by following software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, GitHub) is preferable.
Knowledge and previous experience in setting up automated testing and deployment processes within Azure DevOps is a bonus.
