Our product Management organisation manage all aspects of the portfolio throughout the lifecycle, including strategy, revenue, profitability, portfolio decisions, roadmaps and new product developments. This leader is responsible for inspiring and developing the team along with revenue and gross margin of the portfolio. This position will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy to scale the business substantially and accelerate growth over the next 5 years based on new product introduction, go-to-market expansion, and entry into adjacent applications.
The GPM Leader will bring a strategic, growth- and margin-oriented mind-set paired with excellent commercial acumen.
Your Responsibilities Strategy Development:
Drive revenue and profit targets for product families
Create effective portfolio strategies for strong financial outcomes
Foster innovation through new market entries, product innovations, and strategic partnerships
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to inform decisions.
Align organizational vision with near-term plans and metrics
Collaborate on product roadmaps with engineering and sales
Work with R&D and operations to develop market-driven products
Balance tactical support with strategic evaluations of pricing and market opportunities
Business Plan Execution:
Define Go-to-Market strategies and resource needs with the PM team
Partner with operations to establish effective service models
Build strong relationships with key customers
Oversee the NPI project pipeline to ensure timely and budget-compliant launches
P&L Management & Team Development:
Manage the P&L for product lines, focusing on sales and gross margin
Drive growth through effective NPI execution and share gains
Implement pricing strategies for margin expansion
Lead key projects for competitive advantage and new business opportunities
Inspire and develop a high-performance team
Your Profile 15+ years experience of product management and strategy or business development
8+ years of team leadership in a Product Management Environment ideally with a component manufacturing company
Proven track record in portfolio management with demonstrated success in portfolio optimization, product road-mapping, product gap identification, and product launch
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding financial performance including top-line and profit expansion, cost reduction, and margin improvement
Global leader with a track record of developing and inspiring high performing teams across multiple regions
Experience working in a matrixed structure, at pace
Exposure and experience in the Industrial market is desired
Strong financial acumen
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
Willingness to travel
English & German language required
