The healthcare sector is currently under significant strain due to an ageing population, a shortage of qualified staff and intense financial pressures. The pharmaceutical industry faces heightened complexity and market challenges. To alleviate some of these pressures, the government is promoting multiple strategic initiatives such as public-private partnerships, hospital-at-home programs, equal access and system efficiencies.
Based on the trends highlighted above and your understanding of the market:
* What strategic procurement initiatives do you believe could position Roche as the Partner of choice in the pharmaceutical sector?
* Present one concrete procurement initiative with details.
